The arena football team is well known in the Orlando area and makes a great addition to Siegel’s recent purchase of the Cocoa Beach Pier.
Siegel plans to return Orlando’s arena football team to the new Amway Center in Downtown Orlando for their 2015 season. According to Siegel, this is where the team belongs and the move back to the Amway Center will provide the team with a state of the art facility to play in. Siegel said, “The Orlando Predators is a great football franchise and I look forward to helping them to remain highly competitive for years to come. They provide great entertainment value for locals and visitors alike and have been a staple in our community since they were introduced into the league over 20 years ago.”
Westgate Resort executive, Jared Saft, has been appointed President of the Orlando Predators and will supervise the franchise. The Westgate Resort Foundation will also team up with the Predators to bring a humanitarian aspect to the franchise. Together, the Foundation and the Predators will focus on bringing the youth in Downtown Orlando new opportunities to grow and learn.
